Bespoke Logos & Designs

Coloured quartz allows much greater design freedom than conventional natural resin bound aggregates.

Multiple colours can be incorporated into the same surface to reproduce company logos, school crests, lettering, directional markings, geometric patterns and other bespoke artwork.

For more complex projects, templates or stencils can be used to create clearly defined boundaries between individual colours.

This makes the system particularly suitable for schools, commercial developments, hotels, retail spaces, business entrances, public areas and branded environments.

RAL Colours

Where a particular project specification requires a specific colour, we can supply coloured quartz in a wide selection of shades, including colours produced to suit RAL requirements.

This is particularly useful for architects, designers and commercial clients who need the resin bound surface to coordinate with:

Because appearance can be influenced by the quartz, resin, lighting and finished surface texture, we recommend approving a physical sample before ordering large quantities for colour-critical projects.

Typical Installation

A standard coloured quartz resin bound mix can typically consist of:

• 100kg coloured quartz aggregate
• Graded kiln-dried quartz/sand where specified
• 7.5kg two-part UV-stable polyurethane resin

Coverage will depend on the quartz grading, application and required thickness.

For standard resin bound applications, typical coverage may be approximately:

• 4.0m² at 15mm
• 3.5m² at 18mm
• 3.2m² at 20mm

For logos, lettering and decorative inserts, quantities should be calculated individually according to the size and depth of each coloured section.
